Family member counseling

Understanding the impact

“How can a substance I’m not using still affect me?” This is a question we hear often from loved ones of those battling addiction. It’s important to understand that addiction does not only impact the person struggling with it. Supporting a loved one through this journey can deeply affect the emotional and physical well-being of those close to them.

How we can help

We offer counseling and group therapy for family members, even if their loved one is not in treatment, to help them focus on self-care, find support, and navigate their role in their loved one’s process. Contact the Safe team to learn more about treatment options and how supporting your own health can positively impact both you and your loved one.
